This glossary contains the Atkithian dialect used in “Gods of Changeling Love.” Also a list of the characters who appear in the book.
Atkith is a technological world, and though they speak the same language as the people of Ertaetha (a language I call Antramme, named after a favorite high school English teacher), they have evolved a dialect of their own. While most of the words are derivatives of familiar words or synonyms, some are complete fabrications. The Atkithians often use the last part of a word instead of the first as is common in English, i.e., ’natic for fanatic, instead of fan.
